Star Wars fans, get excited! Lucasfilm has just dropped the first look at their upcoming animated series, "Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures." And let me tell you, it's looking like a must-watch for kids and adults alike. The series, set to premiere on Disney+ and Disney Junior on May 4th, 2023, follows a group of Jedi younglings as they navigate their way through the galaxy, learning the ways of the Force and helping those in need.

In the newly released trailer, we get a glimpse of the main characters, Kai, Lys, Nubs, Nash, and RJ-83, as they learn from the legendary Master Yoda himself. The voiceover of the iconic character permeates throughout the trailer, offering sage advice and important messages about sticking together and helping others. And of course, there's plenty of colorful shenanigans to keep things light-hearted.

What's particularly exciting is that "Young Jedi Adventures" is set during the High Republic era, approximately 50 years before the events of "The Phantom Menace." This means we don't have to worry about a series finale involving the dreaded "Order 66" and can enjoy the show without the looming sense of impending doom.

In a recent statement, James Waugh, the executive producer of the series, emphasized the importance of making the show accessible to a younger audience while staying true to the cinematic legacy of Star Wars. And with a talented cast that includes Jamaal Avery Jr., Juliet Donenfeld, Dee Bradley Baker, Emma Berman, Jonathan Lipow, and Piotr Michael as Master Yoda, it's clear that "Young Jedi Adventures" has the potential to be a beloved addition to the Star Wars universe.

So mark your calendars for May 4th, 2023, and get ready to embark on an exciting journey with the young Jedi. The Force is strong with this one.
