The 17-track project boasts collaborations with some of the biggest names in the global music industry such as Angelique Kidjo, Stormzy, Tiwa Savage, Oxlade, Dexta Daps, Mereba, Jaz Karis, DJ Maphorisa, Shaggy, and Davido.
Stonebwoy’s motivation for this album was to make a contribution to his culture, time, and generation through his music. He explains that the title of the album is symbolic of the fact that it goes beyond the physical, into the spiritual and astral realm. The album touches on various emotions and thoughts, showcasing Stonebwoy’s depth as an artist.
One of the standout features of the album is Stonebwoy’s willingness to experiment with different genres. He ventures into Amapiano territory with South African DJ Maphorisa on the track “Apotheke“, demonstrating his passion for both dancehall and Afrobeats. The album showcases Stonebwoy’s diverse sound and his ability to seamlessly fuse various genres.
