Jonathan Majors, a Hollywood actor known for his work in Marvel productions, was arrested on domestic violence charges in New York last Saturday. He was charged with two counts of third-degree assault, second-degree aggravated harassment, and lesser charges of attempted third-degree assault. According to authorities, the incident involved a dispute with a 30-year-old woman who sustained minor injuries to her head and neck. However, Majors' team has denied the charges.

During his recent arraignment, a judge released Majors on his own recognizance and granted a limited order of protection. The complaint does not name the female accuser, but it claims that Majors struck her face with an open hand, causing substantial pain and a laceration behind her ear. She also alleged that he put his hand on her neck, causing bruising and substantial pain.

However, Majors' attorney, Priya Chaudhry, has stated that there are "two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations." Chaudhry also indicated that they are presenting evidence to the DA, including video footage from the vehicle where the incident took place and witness testimony from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode. Based on this evidence, Chaudhry expects the charges to be dropped.

It is important to note that domestic violence is a serious issue that affects many individuals and families. While the outcome of this specific case is yet to be determined, it serves as a reminder to seek help and support if you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence.
