‘Moana’ Live-Action Remake Set at Disney With Dwayne Johnson Returning

Dwayne Johnson announced during the Disney shareholders meeting that a live-action remake of the hit 2016 animated feature, "Moana," is in the works. The new film will be produced by Johnson, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, and Beau Flynn, with executive producers including Auli'i Cravalho, the voice of Moana in the original film, and Scott Sheldon of Flynn Picture Co. Jared Bush and Dana Ledoux Miller will also be involved in the production.
